How does ZIPFAX transport
documents for free via fax? The concept is to fund the
transmission of the fax by small banner advertisements located on
the fax and generate income with advertisements on the ZIPFAX
site. We further cut down on transmission costs by using the
internet to transport the document most of the way.
We are currently negotiating agreements with business partners
all over the world who will be providing the local servers that
will transmit the fax's to their local destinations. These local
servers are called ZIPFAX Points of Presence or ZPOP. Please stay
tuned to this page as we establish ZPOP's we will list them here.

For areas which the ZIPFAX network has not yet created a local ZPOP, we will attempt to transport the document via the TPC.INT network. The TPC.INT network is a network of remote printers and fax servers set up by large on a volunteer basis by the internet community. Therefore please use your discretion and not abuse the system. There are still however plenty of areas in the world and in the United States that are not currently covered by a TPC.INT server and we would like to "plug" those holes with a commercial solution that again is at no cost to the sender of the fax. By offering a fax sender a central place to send fax's to both the TPC.INT network as well as to commercial fax servers located around the world, ZIPFAX offers the Fax Sender a "one stop shop" for converting E-Mail to Fax, which greatly enhances the service for all concerned.
